Landseer

One hot pup here. It was on Brocante Day in Menton. Hot afternoon sun and this little (what am I saying?) boy is only 4 months of age. A beautiful Newfoundland. When they are black and white like this they are called Landseer.

Almost Wedding Time

Ready to beam up to Karl and Ruis's Wedding!

Minnie

Meet Minnie - taken at dusk - 8 p.m. above Larvotto Beach, Monaco. Minnie, a long-coat chihuahua, lives in Monaco and was taking her evening promenade. I've noted chihuahuas do this - close up their eyes tight as I photograph them. Perhaps they think if they can't see me, I can't see them!

His Master's Voice Dog?

A patient little Jack Russell type of dog at the Brocante in Menton. He reminds me a little of the His Master's Voice dog - remember those adverts...you'll need to be old!

Bed and Breakfast

I just found out that dog beds are not for breakfast. Darn.

To be honest, it didn't taste too good, but it was sure a lot fun to eat.

Hector-

It's Friday...

It's very sad that we had to lose Bonnie yesterday when she went to the Bridge suddenly. She was an Attack Tabby Extraordinaire and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers and plenty of purrs go out to Victor Tabbycat and her whole family. And I want to wish Happy Birthday to ML. She is Mary Lynn of the Sherwood Bunch and a wonderful friend to all of us cats. Thank you to Zoolatry for emailing over these lovely graphics.

Beach Boy

I found out about a new place called "the beach". Its a place with sand and lots of great smells and fun things to see. Lulu showed me that the beach is the best place ever - she got super excited and ran and bounced around like I do. Here we are getting some treats.
The splashy, cold, water knocked me over. Yuck! I don't think I want to get too close to that again.

Even though I got wet and had to have a bath afterwards, I really hope we can go back again soon.
hugs, uba

Squeaker-ectomies

This is one of my very favorite things ever...

Before....

During...

and the Aftermath....

Total time elapsed...15 minutes of sheer bliss!

RIP little squeaky toy...

Doggone Easy

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels must be one of the easiest dogs to own. I always say I could have twenty Cavaliers en pension and not know it! Here you see a pup at the Brocante in Menton a week or so ago. I think she's ready to have a game with a ball but she's being patient. All dogs would rather be with their owners than left at home - so all in all, fine. She's too cute, isn't she? All legs and arms like a colt.

What I was looking at last Wordless Wednesday...

If you recall, last Wednesday I was on the couch looking at something. Some of you were right and it was China Cat. I looked down at China Cat and she was looking over her shoulder which made me curious as to what she was looking at.
Oh, she was looking at a blue bucket.
I wonder why there is a blue bucket in my porch???
She went over to see the blue bucket that she was interested in...
She sniffed it and it seemed safe. China Cat is braver than me.
After China Cat made sure it was OK I went over and looked too.
There was water in the bucket with a soapy kind of smell
so I didn't want to drink it at all.
Then my Food Lady went over and took everything off of our cat area on the whirlpool spa. She said to me, "Willow, do you want to help me?" I love it when she says to me, "Willow, do you want to help me?" because that always means we are going to do something interesting. China Cat didn't like the soapy water in the blue bucket so she went over to the couch for a nap,
but I jumped right up.
~~~~~
It was very clear what that soapy water in the blue bucket was for!
There was nasty pollen all over our cat area!
I was very helpful with my Food Lady.
I walked around and pointed out all of the parts
that she needed to clean for us.
Seem how shiny it is getting now!
Well, I think that this was a job well done!
Now we won't have to lay down on pollen and
bring it into the house.
~~~~~
Thanks, Food Lady, now I can relax on the cleanest of cat areas.
How about a treat after all that hard work???
